Classic Roast Beef

2 pounds [1 kg] beef tenderloin

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 tablespoon powdered mustard

1 cup English Sauce (Worcestershire sauce)

1 Tablespoon of herbs from Provence Salt and pepper to taste


1Preheat the oven to 400 ° F / 200 ° C.

2Tie the meat with a kitchen string. Then, seal it in a frying pan with olive oil until golden brown and set aside.

3Then make a paste with mustard, herbs and olive oil, and coat the beef with this mixture.

4In the hot oven at 400 ° F / 200 ° C, roast the meat for 30 minutes.

5Once cooked, remove it and let it cool for at least 10 minutes.

6Before serving, remove the string , Cut the meat into thin slices and place on a tray.
